Make The Inland Revenue Donate!

By completing a simple Gift Aid Declaration form Animals At Risk Shelter is able to reclaim the Income Tax on your donation. This means that for every £1 that you donate to the Shelter, the Inland Revenue will credit Animals At Risk Shelter with an extra 28p. On a £100 donation, this amounts to an extra £28, which is enough money to spay another female cat. This costs you NOTHING. In order to qualify for Gift Aid, you need to have paid an amount of Income and/or Capital Gains Tax equal to the amount of tax that we claim back.

The Inland Revenue has a really good web site with extensive information about Gift Aid.

If you have want to donate or have donated to Animals At Risk Shelter on a previous occasion, but have not completed a Gift Aid Declaration, please e-mail us for a declaration.

Ways To Help Animals At Risk Shelter

It costs over £30,000 per year to run the shelter. Every penny raised is used to help homeless animals, no wages or salaries are drawn, and there are no large administration expenses. The money that you donate all goes to helping the animals. The shelter is funded purely from donations, either given to us directly or via our FUND RAISING activities. We rely completely on our supporters to be able to continue our work of helping the animals. You can get TAX RELIEF at your highest rate of tax for certain kinds of donations.
